Kingfisher  is a business specialising in bespoke Irish hardwood gifts. With over 45 years experience, owner Brian Walsh has the hands on skills and technical knowledge to imagine, design and make durable, functional and visually pleasing household items.

We have a wide range of native hardwood chopping boards, chunky boards, waney-edge boards, lamps, bud vases, tea light holders, lazy susans, coffee tables, benches, stools, and console tables. 

Many years of wood processing experience gives Brian the ability and knowledge to source and kiln dry Irish grown hardwood such as Spalted Beech, Pippy Oak, Yew, Wild Cherry and others as available. The range of tree species and growing conditions gives these woods unique colour and grain that makes for very special unique household gifts. 

I now have a range of kiln dried and air dried local hardwood and softwood for sale to cabinet makers, hobby woodworkers and woodturners.
